The Sacramento SPCA (SSPCA), located at 6201 Florin Perkins Road, holds feral cat spay/neuter clinics the first four (4) Sundays per month. These clinics are specifically for feral and free-roaming cats that have been trapped the day before the clinic, and are not intended for pet cats.
Sunday Clinics
Currently, all Sunday clinics have been sponsored and spay/neuter will be FREE for all Sacramento County community cats.
If the cat was trapped outside of Sacramento County, there will be a $30 fee.
This includes:
- Spay/Neuter,
- A mandatory ear tip,
- FVRCP and rabies vaccinations,
- A flea and ear mite treatment if needed.
Please read our policies before signing up for a clinic.
Reservations are REQUIRED. To reserve one or more spots at any of these clinics:
- E-mail: feralcats@sspca.org
- Leave a message at (916) 504-2818.
Daily Clinics
Trapped feral cats may also be brought to the Sacramento SPCA Spay/Neuter Clinic, Monday through Saturday with an appointment. There is currently a daily limit. You must sign up online the night before. The fee is currently waived for Sacramento County residents and is $65 per cat for out of county residents without a voucher. Call (916) 504-2818 or Visit www.sspca.org for more details.
